ESFJs are warm-hearted individuals who highly value their close personal relationships. ESFJs as Parents

The ESFJ's tendency to be controlling, combined with their emphasis on tradition and security, makes it likely that they will be at least somewhat strict and controlling of their children. Children of ESFJ parents are likely to rebel from their authority at some point, which will cause a stressful time for both parent and child. Depending on the extent of the guilt manipulation, this may cause serious damage to the relationship.

Most ESFJs are remembered fondly by their children for their genuine love and affection, and for the well-defined structure and guidelines they created for their children.

ESFJs as Friends

Although the ESFJ usually puts their family in front of their friends, they do place a lot of importance on their close friendships, and feel tremendous loyalty towards their friends. Since they feel tremendous pressure in their lives to constantly "do their duty", they may sometimes turn their friendships into another task or responsibility. Usually, however, they get a lot of enjoyment from their friendships, and give back a lot of affirming warmth.

There are a couple of ESFJ tendencies which may cause problems with their casual and intimate friendships: 1) they don't give things freely - they expect something in return, and 2) they have a difficult time believing anything bad about someone close to them.

ESFJs are valued by others for their genuine interest in people, and for their warmth and kind-heartedness. They have a special skill at seeing the best in others, and making people feel good about themselves. Had a blast on fri night, the amt spent was so worth it.

in total, we spent abt $1000+/- we had 9 ppl! tts all

met junjian quite early for lunch and some last minute shopping, he gt a blazer from zara and then we went for lunch, lunch was crazily expensive, haha, i didnt see the price, and we just went in to sit and order, only den did i realised, my bowl of noodles just cost me $6.40! boonkiat was suppose to be there but then, HE PANG SEH US!! so we went to play pool to pass time, saw sarah and enqi on the way there, and after few games, we decided to ditch pool to walk ard. went all the way to suntec in the end, and we actually had fun in the arcade and of course TOYS R US! (: ok, yes, we are almost adults, one 21, im 19, but then, we still have our youths in us. Went over to esplanade after that, i went over to co area while the photographers went to get busy. jj was left in the mrt station to wait for his date. by the time i reached esplanade, almost everything was done, so we went to have dinner, dinner was good and FREE! great right, my only chance to save money for the day. i met the rest after dinner and we proceeded with the concert, our seats were perfect! straight in the centre and it has one of the best views! we walked to clarke quay after the concert, me and nigel left shortly to attend to some MORE URGENT AND IMPORTANT MATTERS (:

i cant believed, i've had the most expensive cab fare, and broke it the same night!

it was 34.40 at first den then our last cab home was 37! fantastic!

haha, now i know how much is it to cab from clarke quay to esplanade to pasir ris to hougang and then back to clarke quay. Nigel and me had fun gg ard singapore while the others had fun making one another drunk! haha. yiwei was so drunked, he was labelled a man by some ang moh.

he actually PUKED IN THE MIDDLE OF CLARKE QUAY. everyone there was cheering and clapping for him. Some ang moh teenagers even came over to guess what he ate! its was so funny yet giving us so much enjoyment, and of course, IT'S A STINKY JOKE! LITERALLY!

we went to yishun to prawn soon after and then stayed till abt 4am before heading back home.

the concert was also great!

we were once again in great attire, standing out from so many. Chinese orchestra was fantastic and i have to say, they really did their best, its the first time im actually happy with the percussion! they nv gave up, kept practicing, even during break time! isnt that great? there is so much improvement! i believe we are able to get another gold if this carries on (:

and also, to make you not so guilty, im willing to pay any price just to make sure ure safe. money is just a paper. ure safety isnt.

What is the meaning of love?

Most people who claim to love someone don’t really love them, because they don’t know what love actually is.
What is love NOT?

Possessiveness is not love
Jealousy is not love
Lust is not love
Fear is not love
Keeping people all to yourself is not love
Expecting something from someone is not love

Real love is unconditional. All other “forms” of love are not really love. Most parents and kids don’t love each other, most people in relationships don’t love each other, most people on the planet never experience unconditional love in their entire lives… or at least it sure looks that way.

To love someone unconditionally means that you love the person exactly as they are, exactly as they were before, and exactly as they will be in the future - because people change all the time, so if you love the person, you will love them even if they become something you disagree with. How many parents can say that about their kids? How many people can say that about their “lover”? Love is not about you or your pleasure or your amusement. It’s not about what you get out of it or what the other person can give to you. It’s not about having a trophy you can show off with and tell people “This is *MY* girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/son/daughter/whatever”. You do not “own” anyone. It’s not about you feeling ‘proud’ to be with someone who always agrees with everything you say and do and never does anything you disagree with. Unconditional love means that the person can just live their life exactly as they choose and you will always be there for them no matter what.

So, how does unconditional love fit in with relationships and marriage and sex and all that stuff the whole world keeps going crazy over? It doesn’t, really. It doesn’t “fit” in anywhere. Relationships are like trying to put love into a box and keep it there, except love is infinitely sized, and the box is… well, there is no box large enough. And a normal, conventional marriage is quite possibly the worst possible way to show someone how much you love them.

Unconditional love is more of a spiritual thing. It’s not bound by physical things, like blood relations and the desire to procreate. It has nothing whatsoever to do with sex. Most people are in relationships because they’re horny and/or lonely, even if they genuinely think they love the other person. But if the person they “love” suddenly lost their “equipment” for whatever reason, would they still want to be with that person? I have been extremely happy lately, ok, i lost quite a handful in soccer bets,

well, junjian came awhile after, we all chatted for awhile before going up central, felt hungry, went down to subway to grab food and went back up to eat while looking at the almost perfect scenery. Its quite a great place to be =) but sadly, the swimming pools are close, awww, how sad, i swam there once only anyway, its down for maintanence, but we arent planning to use it at all, haha. after tt, we headed home, ok, was super funny because, szemin went to change to pe, just because she told her parents she gt night class, like, wth! go so far just for the lie! zzzzz, TOH SZE MIN! you better not lie anymore ah. reached home, watch soccer, portugal trashed north korea 7-0, bla bla, WHAT! 7-0? OMG, HAHA, NORTH KOREA IS SO GONNA BOMB PORTUGAL WITH MISSILES ALREADY LA! HAHAHAHA, make them so paiseh some more. zz, brother friends came to play mahjong, we took over at 12, since there was totally nth to do and had to pass time till 230am, AMAZINGLY PLAYED DONG AND NAN FENG ONLY AND ITS 230AM! wow, tts how long we took and how many times i diao zheng! hahaha, well, spain isnt as good as expected and torres playing like his hair! haha, SHIT! someone childish guy decided to comment on my facebook status and then, CHALLENGE ME SOCCER! HAHA, HE AND WHO? WHAT! HE THINK HE CAN WIN ME? HAHAHA, GO BUILD SOME MUSCLES FIRST DEN TALK LA. so funny la, fabian saw and burst into laughter, its crazy stuff man, and u guys shuld see it, it surely make your day! haha

but well, it was getting late to wait for her and we are all tired, so well, lets hope we see her tmr =)

im pretty bored this few days, nth much, had some catch up with kelly and nigel ytd.

today, i watched the champions league final match till abt 5am, den slept all the way till abt 2. woke up, ate some stuff den was chatting with peiyi online, and because of her, i went all the way to her place to play mahjong. i actually cabbed down!! well, denise and joanne were already there when i reach, so, we started playing. the way denise played was classic, haha, u guys shuld play with her.

den kenneth came, was kinda surprise he actually knows my name and me, cool. im quite famous after all. took turns now and then and we some how played all the way till abt 1220. den took 101 home. she doesnt live tt far actually.haha, and i can see tt there gonna be more of such in future.

had fun today, didnt really regret going. =)
