took 81 to tampines, walked over to blk 201 to have char kway teow,
it was good, a little sweet but not as dry as wad the forum says,
its quite value for money too, lots of cockles abt 8-10 of them, lots of noodles, very filling
all for ONLY $2.80!!
walked around abit and decided to have pearl milk tea.
the milk tea was only $1, was thirsty so i just got it anyway,
the pearl was chewy though, but gt too lazy to chew.
took 59, 15 stops, alighted at changi village blk 5, walked around searching for the stall,
Blk 4 Changi Village Road #01-2082, it's near cheers, it was a pau and dim sum stall from jb,
the price are quite reasonable, the paus are mostly 80 cents each, and 2 for $1.50, wanted to try the jumbo meat pau which cost $3, but i was too full, so instead, i got a small meat pau and char siew pau at$1.50, it taste quite good, the skin was thick, and the char siew was really sweet. was quite worth it, sadly, didnt had room for the dim sum, they were ard $2-$3, shall head there something soon to try, went over cheers a few stalls down and got vitamilk at 90 cents! =)
by then, i was really full, so i took 109 out of the place, went over to sengkang, den to kovan for tau huay, but then, i really had no room for any more food, so no tau huay for me. ended at 345.
thats the end of my 1 man expedition today, had fun, passed time and definitely checked out the food. I shall do this more often!
in total, i spent
char kway teow $2.80
pearl milk tea $1
char siew pau and small pau $1.50
vitamilk $0.90
total $6.20
